This is my other blog besides The8thwonder.org.
While my other blog (The8thwonder.org - used to be content centric), this will be just for sharing photos.
I started photography as a hobby about 9 years ago and Kodak DC240 was my first camera – surprisingly, still works great.
My first true SLR camera was Nikon 6066 – still have it and I won’t part it anytime soon. Then about 6 years ago, saved up some $$$$ and bought a Nikon D70 digital SLR and I should say my photography skills have improved immensely – at least, that’s what I think.
I do have a trusty Fuji F30 (digital P&S camera) that I use during travel and when I don’t feel like lugging my camera gear.

Good
I love your photos. I’ve been searching for photos of the flame tree flower to draw, and yours is the best I’ve come across. I’m a Canadian living in Hong Kong which has a lot of flame trees, but the flowers are too high up in the trees to photograph. So thank you for showing me what they look like close up. Keep up the great photography. Cheers, Richard
