Had a chance to take some pictures at the Midwest Music Conservatory yesterday while my daughter had her vocal music recital performance there.  Elsewhere on the web, I read this place used to be a  Methodist Church – really enjoyed my shots there. Although they allowed flash photography, I liked non-flash to bring out the colors/lighting/shadows. This was shot handheld ;)

  1. You are right about the richness of the colours due to the low light levels, makes the shadowed, closed yet expansive room look quite warm and inviting.

  2. Beautiful photo Sasi! Non- flash in these situations are tricky but always better than flash. You captured a great feeling and color. Awesome for your daughter to have a music recital, what talent.

  3. Lovely interior in this building and you’ve captured it nicely.
