It’s been a while since I last posted a macro shot and as I was looking for a macro subject this evening, I spotted this itsy bitsy spider on our porch.
Used Sigma 150mm macro lens for this shot.

Ick, I hate spiders. Not really scared of them, just hate those beady eyes and hairy legs. Great shot though, excellent job catching the web, somehow I can never get the light right to do a good job on a web. You can never see the web even when I’m trying for it.
You did a nice job here, great light. I don’t like spiders, but viewed this as art.
Nice framing
Count me as another non-fan of spiders. I like the transition from dark to light in this shot though. Natural lighting, or did you light it?
Natural lighting Jim. I am yet to invest in strobes
I’m not a big spider fan. They’re just too creepy. That being said, this is a really lovely shot!
I wasn’t a big fan of the spider until my experience of shooting them. Not that I would want to have them as pets but I have a great respect for them. I really like the way you compose the shot and use of light.
wonderful composition
incredible beauty, wonderful!!!
