Originally planned on posting something else for today’s post but that got changed with rain this afternoon.
Shot this hydrangea leaf studded with raindrops as the rain was taking a break

…..comes the rainbow. I like the 3D look with the leaf echoing in the background. It’s a great photo showing lots of details.
Every time you get one of these monochromatic scenes and match the page to it, I always have this “wow” response. You’ve got an interesting composition (which the crop works well with) and the detail is remarkable. All in all, a great shot.

I love the edges of the leaf and also the feel of the droplets — they all come together in a way that says nature is perfect.
