Shot frozen lake Whetzel during my visit to the park last evening.

There is a bonus shot here – another shot of lake Whetzel from last fall season.

  1. That’s really interesting. I’ve never seen a sign like that at a lake.

  2. This one has a totally different quality to the bonus shot (apart from the obvious differences in composition and lighting). It feels more formal and conservative to go with the season. Two very subtly composed shots, they go very well together. Nicely done.

  3. I like this one for the irony about fishing and taken in front of a frozen lake. I think it’s funny. ;) . Interesting perspective.

  4. why is the limit 10 fish ??

  5. I like how the yellow of the sign adds color to a cold, wintery scene.

  6. What an odd sign, I too have never seen one at a lake before!

  7. I like the composition on this one better. The touch of yellow against the grey and white background adds a nice touch.

  8. A wintry scene, with a bright yellow sign, :-) nice contrast :-)

  9. not much fishing going on. who counts the fish you catch? great photo

  10. This is wonderful. I took a similar picture on Saturday from Creve Coeur lake. What a coincidence.
