That’s really interesting. I’ve never seen a sign like that at a lake.
This one has a totally different quality to the bonus shot (apart from the obvious differences in composition and lighting). It feels more formal and conservative to go with the season. Two very subtly composed shots, they go very well together. Nicely done.
I like this one for the irony about fishing and taken in front of a frozen lake. I think it’s funny.

I like how the yellow of the sign adds color to a cold, wintery scene.
What an odd sign, I too have never seen one at a lake before!
I like the composition on this one better. The touch of yellow against the grey and white background adds a nice touch.
