It’s one of those days with not much inspiration. Have you ever felt while browsing the endless internet that You’ve reached the end of the internet?

That’s the kind of the day this was – I had the feel, that I had nothing else to shoot. With my 60mm macro attached to D70, I was aimlessly shooting and then I came across this Hand Mixer Turbo Beater accessory in the kitchen (that’s my primary shooting area) and thought I should do a macro shot.

Then had this shot by sitting it on a plastic green cup…so I guess I did alright for day: 330

Just 30+ days more to go on this project….may be I should start a countdown ;)

  1. Great shot! Perfect macro!

  2. very interesting realization, splendid macro and perfect proportion with background, really compliments for this one

  3. Making something out of nothing is my favourite form of photography. Well done.

  4. Very thought provoking here, nice capture :O)

    Best,

    DSP

  5. An excellent composition. Necessity truly is the mother of invention, you made something visually interesting out of an item few would consider to photograph. Nicely done.

  6. I really like the yellows, great job Sasi!

  7. The yellow makes a great background.

  8. … and photography has taught you too look at the mundane and turn it into art by manipulating the background and messing with different angles. What a perfect shot! Perfect creamy background and look at those little bokeh “lights.”

  9. I agree it can be tough especially after 330 days to stay fresh but there is nothing wrong with simply practicing existing skills.
