Realized I haven’t done a portrait post in a while.

Finding a subject for my shoot was a bit tough this morning. I couldn’t have my 3yr old boy to stay in one place and my daughter wouldn’t pose – she got my gene that takes comfort in staying behind the camera :)

So I had to convince her that I will use the technique of selective focusing to put her out of focus…No I didn’t say that. I think that’s a bit too much for a 7yr old. I just told her that she won’t be in the picture…call me a liar!

Anyway, I like the way this turned out. Now I need to go convince her before she see’s this post ;)

  1. Very cute! You worked around your model problem quite nicely!

  2. clever composition with this point of focus

  3. Beautifully composed and executed. I love the synchronicity between the froggie’s pose and your daughter’s. An inspired shot, one to print and put on the wall.

  4. This is very cute and makes me smile! FUN!

  5. What a wonderful photo Sasi, I hope she was okay with it after. :D

  6. An adorable shot indeed and I love the way their poses match
