Another food related shot for my 365 project…

Whenever there is a feast there are leftovers and we ended up with Leftovers Panini for brunch. We had roasted vegetables (the good stuff) from yesterday and a quick warming, then on the stove top grill in-between wheat bread with cheese did the trick.

Thought I will throw in the grill and cast iron press in the background for this food shot.

My daughter was there to help me this morning by holding a white plate to fill in the shadows…by the end of the shoot, she said “I don’t like being a photo helper but rather be a gal behind the camera”.

I guess another young photog in the offing ;)

  1. You have a talent for food photography. Yummy!

  2. p.s. You have a very smart daughter.

  3. My son has realised that he can say “no” to me and it has made life so much harder :) This is an appropriate continuation from yesterday’s shot. You are hitting the traditional notes. I am sure I don’t have to say that it is a great shot, by now that should be understood :) Still . . . Great Shot!

  4. Oh, man, this looks so good but I am so full! Funny what your daughter said… sounds like a smart little girl :)

  5. Very nice! That sandwich looks delicious! Tell your daughter that the “photo helper” phase is part of learning photography! :-)

  6. that is a good looking photo!!! yum!

  7. Food photography is something I have never been able to master. This looks so delicious it makes my mouth water. And next photo session, let your assistant shoot a couple too. :)
