Another quick one for day:285

When there is nothing else to shoot, shoot a macro ;)

That’s what happened this evening. I am out of time this evening and when I got home from work, saw my wife cooking and thought I should try a macro shot of flame.

I really like the neon like glow around the edges.

  1. Sasi…I actually said “oohhhhh” when I saw this. Love love the blues. The only thing that bothers me a tad is the off centered burner…but, it doesn’t bug me that much! Just an observation…great shot.

  2. Nice shot. The blues really are great, and I like how you can see the burner through the flame.

Oh, I took your and David’s advice about cropping yesterday’s image. Let me know what you thinkhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/9574126@N06/5082635782/

  3. Very nice, great texture and color. Another great shot.

  4. perfect details, interesting result, compliments for idea

  5. I could never get this from my electric range :( Not bad for rushed shot, I would have gone a little closer to try and get just the burner and the blue flame in order to abstract it a little more (as long as I didn’t end up cooking the lens :) )

  6. Nice! I love the darkness of the surroundings with the lovely blue of the flame. It looks almost surreal.
