Today’s daily shoot assignment: Simplicity is economy. Make the simplest photograph you can today. Take things out until you can’t remove anything else.

Another busy Friday ;)

I took some time off from work and tried staying away from my computer – no email or Google reader.

Spent few minutes this afternoon for TDS:Simplicity assignment shot. I will have to catch up on photo blogs that I routinely visit later this weekend.

  1. yes, simplicity but with a awesome result, impressive shot

  2. You’ve admirably met the requirements of the assignment, but I’d liked to have seen a bit more depth of field to keep more of the stone in focus. I do like the softly out of focus background and the colours, very warm and inviting.

  3. I really love this shot. The DoF is excellent and I love the result.

  4. The front of the rock seems a little “soft” but you make up for it in colors and creamy bokeh in the background. Nicely done.

  5. Great choice for “simplicity.” That perfectly smooth background is awesome too!
