Today’ daily shoot assignment: Create a photo that illustrates the word “ouch” with your own personal interpretation.
Another real busy Wednesday. Didn’t get to do my shoot for day:270 until about 9:00 PM this evening.
So decided to do something with candle light for today’s photo post. Then I thought, how about if I catch the glow caused by candle light on the palm of my hand…so began experimenting after sending the family to bed.
While experimenting this shoot, I did mutter “Ouch” couple of time – perhaps I had my thumb placed too close to the candle flame 
So had my shot done and it kind of worked out for TDS assignment.

I totally understand about the time issue. It’s a constant struggle for me.
You managed to get a nice image even with your time constraint. Great details in the hand.

Gorgeous details
Sometimes it is when we are most pressed that we are the most creative. A simple but fulfilling composition, perfectly indicative of the quiet and contemplative mood. Nicely done.
I love the light that puts on your hand – it brings out very interesting detail.
Now here’s a guys who really suffers for his art…:) Nice job. I like the detail in your hand, and b&w is a great treatment for this image.
