Today’s daily shoot assignment: Symmetry can be calm and soothing. Make a photo today featuring symmetry, either in subject or composition.

Shot this while I was getting back from my work this evening on the Metro.

Surprisingly it wasn’t crowded. There were only few folks and they didn’t mind me shooting pictures – perhaps it was because of my Fuji P&S camera and people weren’t intimidated ;)

  1. I love this shot and Black & White was SOOOO the way to go. Beautiful shot.

  2. Gorgeous black and white Sasi. Such a beautiful distribution of tones and shapes. It is amazing that you saw the potential in this scene, I’d never have thought to photograph here (at least not without people in the scene).

  3. Great shot. I agree with Nikhil, I would have never thought of it. Do you create your own black and white images or are you using an action? It’s a perfect black and white.

  4. Good photo, great black and white

  5. Nice take on today’s TDS, excellent choice on B&W Sasi.

  6. Nice! I really like your environmental shots of city life – I have never lived in a big city, and it’s a whole new culture for me. I always find them fascinating!

  7. Very nice Sasi, I like the BW look!

  8. nice black and white, but I think I would have preferred the people to be either absent altogether or more in shot than they currently are.
