Photo 365: Day 194 – Daily Shoot Assignment: Corners
Today’s daily shoot assignment: Corners are everywhere. Make a photo of an interesting corner today, capturing its light and angles.
As I was in the quest for interesting corner, I found those ones on our fireplace mantel to be interesting.
I did multiple shots without flash and bounced flash. Later, after downloading found those without shadows (using bounced flash) to be boring and lacking any depth. I know shadows are something that photogs try avoiding in their shots.
But decided to go one with the harsh shadows, as they provide a nice depth that brings out the details on the woodwork on the mantel
