Decided to join DailyShoot challenge – today’s challenge: Make a photograph of something circular and crop it within a square frame.

When I saw this challenge this AM, many composition/ideas came to my mind. Got back from work and when I saw the kiwi fruit, I thought I found my subject. So I want bring out the details in kiwi fruit – had this sit on a green plate and shot this using Sigma 150mm macro lens with natural window lighting. Used couple of homemade light reflectors to lit the shadows.

The End ;)

  2. Very well done. I like the detail.

  3. Beautiful detail and great lighting. Your images are beautiful.

  4. This is awesome. I love the detail, the color. Nice job.

The daily shoot is kinda fun, isn’t it?

  5. Great Shot Sasi, thanks for bringing the beauty of nature so close to my eyes, generally my mouth overtakes my eyes when I have kiwi in my hands :)

  6. Perfect!! What an awesome idea and very well executed!

  7. This is great! Love the details! And good idea to use a green plate for background.

  8. What a cool shot, Sasi. Very nicely executed.
I’ve been watching Daily Shot for over a week now and haven’t been able to apply it. At least it gives me a place to start. I wish I had enough natural light in my apartment but no. I’m needing space badly.

  9. love the detail in the kiwi!

  10. Excellent detail.

  11. love the details in the tiny seeds and the colour is nice – it’s often tempting to saturate such colours which is not always the most interesting choice

  12. Love the green on reen!

  13. I found that it made my 365 easier by joining the DailyShoot challenge as a backup for when I’m uninspired or out of ideas.
