Recently purchased soft Panda licorice from Trader Joes. Unlike the mainstream Twizzler, these are soft, made of real licorice root juice and sweetened using molasses (yay no HFCS). Anyway – the very first time my 2 year old boy tried, it was rejected immediately without further consumption. Surly it’s an acquired taste and I don’t blame him.

Then past Sunday, he was standing by the pantry, pointing at the licorice box and was wanting to have some – he sure does have a sweet tooth (I guess it’s in the gene). Few minutes later, he comes back and tells me – “I like Panda. Give me Panda!”. May be I should send him over to China
