I always wanted to capture the picture of a kettle blowing out steam. So tried this out by mounting my trusty 50mm prime on D70 on a tripod and setting the aperture to f11. Then put the camera in self timer mode and let the shutter click at 1 second.

Not a good shot…but one of these days I will perfect it ;)

    I think its too close to notice the steam.
